KEA X FCK
We on KEA, collaborated with FCK's fan shop to develop a circular clothing and accessories collection that can match FCK's vision, values and their users' needs.
The brief was focused on material selection and upcycling of existing resources to ensure aesthetic, functional and sustainable solutions.
We went out interviewing people on the street. we targeted people wearing football shirts, to find out what makes them wear football shirts in everyday life. another thing we were interested to find out, was what the football club FCK symbolized for people.
our concept
The silhouette and shape sketching was based on line sketches and small paintings that we did. From there we selected silhouettes that could accommodate the average Copenhagener but also something that could be practical when sitting in the stadium in all kinds of weather.
Our Upcycling element in the collection, is Quilted shorts, with filling error blouses.
Hoodie, with print on the back.
Through wardrobe studies we found out that the clothes that survive in the wardrobe are the clothes you have a special experience with. I therefore developed the print from a tour t-shirt from Metallica. The years printet on the back of the hoodie, are all the years in which FCK has won a championship.
Inspirational t-shirt
A commercial collection, with small details that speak to the FCK fan, but also to the Copenhagener. The upcycling element lies in using the waste jerseys that are misprinted, and turning them into filling in shorts, jackets and bags.
